Sofia Arencibia, commonly known by her students as Ms. Sofia, is the founder and director of Movement Miami. She has trained as a classical ballet dancer for over 20 years and has been a teacher and choreographer for six years. Throughout her dance career, she has attended prestigious ballet competitions and intensive training programs throughout the United States. As a dance teacher, she has worked with students of all ages. She has choreographed and prepared students on a competitive level for futures as professional ballet dancers. While pursuing a career in dance and the arts, Sofia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Florida International University. Through her vast experience as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer in Miami, Sofia is confident that she has the necessary tools to carry out the mission of Movement Miami.
