Guidelines
Movement Miami, under the direction of Sofia Arencibia (Ms. Sofia), provides exceptional creative movement and pre-ballet training for pre-school students. This program provides an introduction to dance and movement experience for young children ages 2-4 years old.
Mission
To stimulate creativity and to develop physical, mental, emotional, and social skills in preschool children through movement and music.
Values
Ms. Sofia will offer after school classes in which students will be encouraged to explore creative movement and dance in a safe, nurturing, positive, and structured environment. Quality training by dedicated and supportive teachers allows young children to explore movement while engaging in physical fitness exercises specially geared for young children.
Students are expected to have consistent attendance, wear the proper attire as noted, and demonstrate appropriate conduct in each class. Students will learn the basic etiquette associated with dance training such as the values of respect, responsibility, hard work, and perseverance.
